Our productions bring together Club members and guest artists for an intensive and rewarding theatrical experience. Male roles are exclusively cast from among the Club’s Active Membership, while auditions for women’s roles are open to nonmembers. Opportunities for nonmember performers are typically advertised through Backstage.com, along with audition dates, role descriptions, and submission instructions. We encourage interested performers to review each audition notice carefully for role requirements, rehearsal dates, performance schedules, and any production-specific information.

Production Schedule

Our major productions generally rehearse for approximately five weeks, followed by a two-week performance run. Rehearsals are typically scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7-10 PM, and performances are scheduled nearly every day during the run period, so participants should be prepared for a substantial time commitment throughout both the rehearsal and performance periods. Specific schedules and any anticipated conflicts will be discussed during the audition and casting process.

A Private Club Setting

The Club is a private social organization and does not sell tickets to the general public. Performances are attended by the invited guests of Club members, performers, and members of the production team.

Performance Attire

Audience attire is part of the Club’s theatrical tradition. For most performances, gentlemen are expected to wear a jacket and tie, with comparable attire requested for ladies. Friday and Saturday evening performances during each production typically have a black tie dress code. The final dress rehearsal is generally a more casual-attire event.
